After announcing the one-time benefit scheme for former players, BCCI is yet to deliver the cheques to some of the former cricketers.
The former cricketers who haven't got their cheques from BCCI include former Indian spinner Maninder Singh, wicket-keeper Surinder Khanna and Gursharan Singh.
These players had expressed their solidarity with ex-cricketer Kirti Azad's comments on IPL and demand for a ban on the cash-rich domestic league at the Feroz Shah Kotla as reported by Hindustan Times.
The trio who haven't received the cheques yet from BCCI disagreed with Kirti Azad's comments and left the venue.
"There are still some players who were not there at Azad's campaign who haven't got the money. So I hope we should get it," one of them told HT.
It is learnt that BCCI had given Rs 70 crore to former cricketers who had retired before 2003. The list does not include the World Cup winning captain, Kapil Dev since he was associated with Indian Cricket League and also excluded Kirti Azad's name from the list following his anti-IPL protest.
